Fundraiser for the Chaffey’s Lock Heritage Society.
Glen Foster has been performing stand-up comedy for over four decades. He didn’t just “work the road”, he’s one of the guys who built it. Glen appeared in his first one-hour comedy special, “That Canadian Guy“ in the year 2000. Since then, the moniker has stuck. Many of his fans don’t even know his actual name, but they do know one thing, he is one of the funniest comedians anywhere. Glen’s comedy appeals to those who appreciate a more intelligent, but slightly “edgy“ brand of humour. His material is mostly clean and always clever, topical and timely, reflecting his own experiences as well as current events and popular culture. You may remember Glen from one of his many appearances with CBC’s “Just for Laughs“, or you may have heard him frequently on CBC Radio’s “The Debaters“. Glen is visiting Chaffey’s Lock courtesy of Dave Brown. Brown’s Marina has re-donated the win to the Heritage Society and is sponsoring the show at the hall.
